The Tulsa World is once again honoring the top high school athletes in the Tulsa area. Finalists for the All-World Awards for winter sports will be announced throughout the week, with boys and girls swimming on Wednesday, boys and girls wrestling on Thursday, boys basketball on Friday, and girls basketball on Saturday. The World’s All-State boys and girls basketball will be announced on Sunday.
Last fall, athlete of the year finalists in football, cross country, volleyball, and softball were announced. The 2023-24 All-World honors will cover football, softball, volleyball, girls cross country, and boys cross country.
Finalists for spring sports will be revealed in early June, along with winners for specialty awards such as best comeback, inspirational and scholar athletes, and a lifetime achievement award recipient. The athletes of the year in each sport will be announced at the eighth annual All-World Awards, presented by Bill Knight Automotive, on Thursday, June 20 at the Cox Business Convention Center’s Legacy Hall.
