U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff has played a crucial role in improving healthcare services in South Georgia. Recently, he secured Federal funding for Tift Regional Health System to upgrade their dialysis treatments. This announcement came after Senator Ossoff worked tirelessly to bring together both Republicans and Democrats, resulting in a bipartisan government funding package worth $600,000.
Tift Regional Health System serves 12 counties in South Georgia and will use this funding to acquire state-of-the-art equipment for traditional and peritoneal dialysis treatments. This new equipment will greatly benefit patients who require these treatments, as it will allow them to receive more effective care using the latest clinical care machinery.
Senator Ossoff expressed his gratitude towards Christopher Dorman, President and CEO of Tift Regional Health System, for bringing this proposal to his office and for leading the community in this initiative.
