The University of Utah Health Plans Launches Healthy U CHIP, a New Health Insurance Plan for Children

University of Utah Health Plans was founded in 1998 as a Medicaid plan and now serves over 240,000 members in the Mountain West region. The organization specializes in administering medical, mental health, and pharmacy benefits for government programs such as Medicaid and CHIP, as well as fully insured and self-funded employer groups, individuals, and families. Families can apply for CHIP at any time through MyCase or by calling 1-877-543-7669. Open enrollment, during which you can change your existing plan, takes place from May 15 through June 15.
