As threats such as HIV, tuberculosis, and antimicrobial resistance persist, accurate and rapid diagnostic tests are essential for effective treatment and care in low- and middle-income countries. The 77th World Health Assembly in Geneva will bring experts together to address the challenges hindering access to diagnostics in these regions.
Diagnostic network optimization (DNO) is a process used by many countries to identify gaps and inefficiencies in healthcare delivery. However, much of the data collected during DNO processes is not fully utilized, which limits their effectiveness in improving healthcare systems and combating diseases. On May 30th, Foreign Policy and Cepheid will host an event to discuss how to unlock insights from DNO processes to enhance pathogen detection, strengthen global health systems, achieve universal health coverage, and combat antimicrobial resistance.
Join the conversation to explore solutions for improving diagnostics and advancing global health initiatives. The event will take place on May 30th, 2024, from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM CET.
