The UT Health San Antonio Police Department will be conducting law enforcement training at the Behavioral Health and Wellness Center on Saturday, June 8, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The center is located at 5788 Eckhert Road in San Antonio. During the training exercise, there will be an increased police presence in and around the clinic. Members of the community may see a large number of police vehicles, uniformed police officers, and officers in tactical equipment.
The UT Health San Antonio Police Department is committed to ensuring the safety of both the university community and the larger San Antonio Medical Center area. They appreciate the understanding of those in the community as they work to better prepare their officers to protect them from harm.
