On Friday, St. Hubert hosted its annual Women in Technology Conference at the new Connelly Arts and Design Center. Sponsored by Cisco Systems, the conference coincided with International Girls in Information and Communication Technology Day, with a focus on leadership this year.
Attendees included students from St. Hubert, Little Flower, and Archbishop Ryan, as well as state Sen. Jimmy Dillon, who is the minority-party chairman of the Senate Communications & Technology Committee. The keynote speaker for the conference was Jeanine Heck, a 1995 graduate of St. Hubert who is now the Senior Vice President of Entertainment Product at Comcast.
During the event, several speakers shared their insights, including Terry Grogan from Tower Health, Christi Finnegan from TMNA Services, Gladys Kline from ThousandEyes (a part of Cisco), Gretchen Area from Campbell Soup Company, Alyson Andreas from Campbell Soup Company, Monique St. John from Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and Patty Vollmar from Colgate-Palmolive.
