Davis Baker joins WSFA as new sports reporter

WSFA 12 News is excited to introduce its newest sports reporter, Davis Baker, to the team. Baker, originally from Georgia, has just joined WSFA after serving as the sports director for KTEN in Denison, Texas for the past two years. During his time at KTEN, he was the weeknight sports anchor and covered local and regional sports news in north Texas and southeast Oklahoma. Additionally, he produced and hosted feature shows and football previews.

At WSFA, Baker will be working alongside Rosie Langello, the sports director at WSFA. Langello expressed her enthusiasm about welcoming Baker to the team and highlighted his reputation in the industry as a hard worker with a positive attitude. She believes that Baker’s experience as a former sports director will make him a valuable asset to the team.

Baker is passionate about SEC sports and is eager to highlight high school, college, and professional athletes in Alabama. He expressed his excitement about joining the WSFA team and working alongside Langello. Langello welcomed him with open arms and is looking forward to seeing Baker’s involvement in the community and his dedication to covering sports teams in the area.
