GreenSeam Organizes Workshops for Agricultural Businesses in the Region – The Globe

On May 2nd, GreenSeam is hosting a workshop at the St. James Golf Course in St. James that aims to provide ag-related businesses with the resources they need to succeed locally. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with community leaders and gain valuable tools to take their business to the next level.

During the workshop, University of Minnesota Extension Educator Neil Linscheid will speak about critical variables for business success in the county. Jeff Stamp, inventor of the Lays Baked potato chip and professor of entrepreneurship at the U of M, will share insights on the six problems all entrepreneurs must solve. Additionally, a panel of local business success stories will be presented, featuring companies like Romsdahl Companies, Winegar Inc, and Berry Pallets.

The workshop will conclude with a work session where attendees can ask questions, access regional resources, and connect with the local Economic Development. There is a fee to attend the workshop, which includes breakfast. For more information and to register, visit greenseam.org/GITGSJ.
