AMC Theatres has appointed Stephanie Tierney as Vice President of distribution to aid in the development of their new movie distribution business. This decision was made following the success of events like Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour and Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé, which disrupted the Hollywood studio system. In her new role, Tierney will collaborate with the music industry to create projects and develop customized distribution strategies and marketing campaigns to engage fans.
Alongside Nikkole Denson-Randolph, Kevin Arnold has been promoted to Vice President of programming promotions & partnerships for AMC’s distribution venture. Their goal is to bring more leading music artists to the big screen through AMC Theatres Distribution.
AMC’s Chief Content Officer, Elizabeth Frank, expressed excitement about the future of AMC Theatres Distribution with the expertise of Stephanie Tierney and the leadership of Nikkole Denson-Randolph. The success of their past projects has paved the way for an exciting new business venture for AMC.
Prior to her role at AMC, Stephanie Tierney worked at Fandango leading the integrated marketing team, working with studios, exhibitors, and brand partners to drive consumer awareness and ticket sales. Her experience in partner marketing for various brands will be a valuable asset in her new role at AMC Theatres.
