Since its release in August of last year, “Baldur’s Gate 3” has received recognition in several prestigious awards including the Golden Joysticks, Game Developers Choice, DICE, and The Game Awards, as well as BAFTA Games Awards, Hugo Awards and GLAAD Media Awards among others. This game has been a hit for Larian Studios and has paved the way for their future endeavors.
The team behind “Baldur’s Gate 3” is currently working on their next update, Patch 7. This update aims to address bugs and improve evil endings while introducing new modification tools to give players more control over the game. In addition to this, they are also looking to add cross-play and a photo mode in the future. However, they have stated that there will be no continuation of the story through a new narrative or sequel.
Larian Studios announced that there will be no “Baldur’s Gate 4,” instead they are excited about the development of their new projects which are independent of the “Baldur’s Gate” saga. The game is inspired by Dungeons & Dragons and offers an open world for players to explore freely adapting the lore of the popular role-playing game into a story where player decisions affect characters and outcomes.
