This May 16th, the Doenges Ford Indians will be hosting tryouts in downtown Bartlesville, marking the beginning of summer and the 83rd year of the team’s existence. John Pannell will return as manager for his 15th season overall. Despite the trend of high school players choosing travel baseball or larger metro area teams, Pannell believes playing for the Indians offers a unique experience that helps players grow.

Tryouts will begin at 7:00 on May 16th at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium, with the season opener scheduled for the Memorial Day weekend. The Indians will also make trips to Arkansas and participate in the Glen Winget Tournament at home, in addition to regular season games.
