Karla Navas from Panama won the women’s vault title at the Doha World Cup with an average score of 13.850. An Chang Ok from the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea closely followed with a score of 13.833, while Valentina Georgieva from Bulgaria took home the bronze with a score of 13.466.
Meanwhile, on the men’s side, Milad Karimi from Kazakhstan emerged victorious in the floor exercise final with a score of 14.766, edging out Team GB’s Luke Whitehouse (14.566) for the top spot. Karimi’s compatriot Dmitriy Patanin grabbed the bronze with a score of 14.500.
The competition in Doha will continue on Saturday (20 April) with the men’s vault, parallel bars, and horizontal bar, along with the women’s balance beam and floor exercise.
