Prafulla Kumar Behera, a physics professor from IIT-M, was the guest speaker at the event. He discussed Peter W Higgs’ theoretical discovery and its impact on shaping the future of high energy physics and technological advancements in building accelerators like large hadron colliders and detectors like ATLAS that can identify particle properties.

One article discusses what aspiring lecturers can expect after the KSET 2024 results are announced. Another article covers the KSET results declared by KEA, including information on qualifying marks, eligibility certificates for Assistant Professor positions, and more. Despite challenging weather conditions such as heatwaves in April, special events at Kolkata’s Science City and BITM attracted record footfall. BITM’s successful programs and student interest contributed to increased visitors while Science City’s AC galleries and Voyager movie viewing experience were popular among crowds. This shows that people continue to have an interest in science and education despite difficult circumstances such as extreme temperatures.
The Tamil Nadu Science Forum organizes a weekly series of science lectures both online and offline as part of its ongoing efforts to promote scientific literacy in the community.
