Ca Mau fertilizer is available for export to Australia

Ca Mau Fertilizer (PVCFC) has recently received a certificate to export bulk fertilizer, specifically granular urea, to the Australian market. This achievement marks the first time a Vietnamese enterprise has been granted this privilege. PVCFC worked closely with Australian authorities to assess the entire production process and shipping route in order to meet the stringent standards required for the Australian market.

The company’s proactive approach in seeking export opportunities to foreign markets has been successful in generating revenue. By the end of 2023, PVCFC had significant total assets, revenue, and profit after tax. The export output and value reached notable figures, with Cambodia being the largest export market. Ca Mau Fertilizer products are now available in 20 countries around the world.

Established in 2011, PVCFC operates in the agricultural sector and has three factories with a total capacity of consuming over 1.3 million tons of fertilizer annually. The main product of Ca Mau Fertilizer Plant is granular urea, with a capacity of around 800,000 tons per year. The unit’s focus this year is on developing sustainable green agriculture through investment, sustainable development, and digital transformation strategies.

In order to meet the standards required for the Australian market, PVCFC focused on improving quality in all aspects of the process, including transportation, loading, and unloading. The company ensured optimal quality by increasing loading and unloading speeds, surpassing the average level of exporters worldwide. This move is part of PVCFC’s strategy to expand its international business amidst challenges in the fertilizer industry, such as fluctuating raw material prices, decreased fertilizer prices
