Bulldogs dominate Mountaineers in softball sweep, scoring an impressive 30 runs

The Hancock Bulldogs softball team had an impressive doubleheader against Norway at the Hancock Driving Park. In the first game, Sofie Freeman went 3-for-4 and Brooke Koskela drove in four runs, leading the Bulldogs to a sweep of the Iron Mountain Mountaineers with scores of 12-0 and 18-2.

Koskela had an outstanding game, with a single, a triple, and a two-run home run in the fifth inning. She finished 3-for-4 with four RBI and three runs scored. Sydnie Scholie also contributed significantly, going 3-for-3 with three RBI, a triple, a double, and a run scored. Freeman went 2-for-4 with three runs scored, while Ella Storm also went 2-for-4 with three runs scored. Sadie Biekkola was exceptional on the mound, striking out 10 batters and only giving up two hits while also making an impact at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored.
