Jefferson City baseball victorious on Blair Oaks’ senior night | High School Sports

Jefferson City emerged victorious over Blair Oaks in their Monday night game, winning 3-2. The match took place at Blair Oaks High School, where the two teams faced off on the field.

Blair Oaks was the first to strike in the bottom of the third inning, with freshman Vander Halford leading the charge by scoring junior Evan McCullough. The Falcons managed to maintain their advantage thanks to a balk from the Jays’ pitcher, leaving them with a 2-0 lead.

However, the Jays fought back in the top of the fourth inning, scoring three runs to take a commanding lead. Junior Adam Scheperle, sophomore Ryan Meyer, and senior Ryan Tadsen were instrumental in helping Jefferson City pull ahead. From that point onwards, neither team scored any more runs for the remainder of the game.

Looking ahead, Blair Oaks will face Hallsville at home on Tuesday, while Jefferson City will have a home game against Father Tolton on the same day. Both teams will be looking to build upon their momentum from this game as they prepare for their next matchups.
