Here’s a list of top performers from Memphis area high school spring sports for Week 10 of the 2024 season. In baseball, Caleb Lassiter of Briarcrest got the save in a 3-2 Game 1 victory over CBHS. Aidan McCrady, also of Briarcrest, was the winning pitcher, allowing four hits and striking out seven in 6.2 innings. Ty Holman of CBHS allowed two hits in six innings pitched in a 3-2 Game 1 loss to Briarcrest, while Hank Stalnaker of CBHS had two hits. In Game 2, Taylor Brady of Briarcrest had two RBIs in a 4-3 win over CBHS, with Carter Lamb as the winning pitcher in relief and Caleb Lassiter getting the save.
In softball, Breleigh Bunker of Arlington was 2-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored in a 10-5 victory over Collierville. Brittanie Layton was the winning pitcher for Arlington, while Grace Pentecost was 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Aliya Garcia of Brighton had two hits in a 3-2 victory over Munford, Laney Lawson of Brighton went the distance scattering six hits, and Adin Shelton of Brighton had a home run.
