On May 7, the Kandiyohi County Board will have a meeting in Willmar to discuss several important topics. The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. in the boardroom of the Kandiyohi County Health and Human Services building.
During this meeting, proclamations for Mental Health Month and Foster Care Appreciation Month, along with Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day and Child Care Provider Appreciation Day, will be presented. Kandiyohi County’s Health and Human Services, Woodland Centers, and the United Community Action Partnership Parent Support Outreach Program will provide presentations on mental health services and foster care in the county.
In addition to these proclamations and presentations, there are several other agenda items that will be discussed and approved during the meeting. These include the 2024 Community Crime Intervention and Prevention Grant contract, bid award for reconstruction of County Road 7, and bid award for 2024 bituminous surfacing projects including overlays of County Roads 23 and 5.
