Tom Stoltman emerges victorious at the 2024 World’s Strongest Man competition

Tom Stoltman has won the title of “World’s Strongest Man” for the third time in four years after a dominating performance at the 2024 competition. With a final score of 53 points, Stoltman finished five and a half points ahead of second-place finisher Mitchell Hooper, who was unable to stop him from securing another title. This marks a significant achievement for Stoltman, as he now shares the title of third on the all-time winners list of the WSM with American Bill Kazmaeir (1980, 1981, 1982).

Despite facing stiff competition from other strongmen around the world, Stoltman consistently placed no lower than third in any of the six events held over the two-day finals. He tied for the most points in the Max Axle event and the Keg Toss on day one, putting him in an early lead that he never relinquished. Overall, Stoltman’s impressive performance solidified his place as one of the greatest strongmen in history.

Evan Singleton, an American competitor, finished in third place overall this year. Singleton was also the highest-placing American at last year’s competition when he finished tied for fourth place. Meanwhile, Luke Stoltman, Tom’s brother, finished in ninth place shortly after winning Europe’s Strongest Man competition. Despite their different performances this year, both brothers have established themselves as formidable competitors on the world stage and continue to push themselves to be better each time they compete.
