The Latin American Music Awards were held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, with Thalia opening the ceremony by premiering the “Te Va a Doler” remix. The song, from her upcoming album A Mucha Honra, was given an electronic treatment by DJ Deorro. Thalia’s performance was lively and energetic, with over a dozen dancers in metallic outfits joining her on stage.
Thalia expressed her joy at being surrounded by familiar faces and the beautiful blend of cultures present at the event. She described “Te Va a Doler” as a song that combines both regional and modern elements, reflecting her musical style while incorporating the new Mexican regional sound.
The awards ceremony featured co-hosts Becky G, Alejandra Espinoza, and Carlos Ponce, who co-hosted the event in a bilingual broadcast. This marked the first time that a major U.S. awards show had been presented in both English and Spanish.
Feid and Peso Pluma were the top nominees of the night, each receiving 12 nominations. Other artists with multiple nominations included Bad Bunny, Grupo Frontera, Karol G, Shakira, Eslabon Armado, and Fuerza Regida.
