TikTok has recently launched a new photo and text mobile app called TikTok Notes, which is currently being tested in Australia and Canada. This app serves as a photography application that allows users to share photo posts from their TikTok account as well as new image posts.
According to social media analyst Matt Navarra, the app is designed for those who want to share and interact with others through photographic content. The app offers two feeds of content, similar to the original TikTok app, including ‘For you’ and ‘Following’. Users can share individual images or create carousels of multiple photos, which will be displayed in a Pinterest-style format with two columns.
TikTok has not yet confirmed whether they will introduce TikTok Notes to more regions after the initial testing phase. Users are encouraged to try out the app and provide feedback as TikTok continues to develop and improve the platform.
