The Napoleon High School Robotics Team, known as Triple Triangularity, received an invitation to compete in the VEX HS World Championship held in Dallas, Texas. Scheduled for April 24-27, this tournament will see the team, 40684D, go up against 800 teams from around the globe.
The VEX Robotics World Championship is presented by the Northrop Grumman Foundation and the REC Foundation. This annual event brings together some of the best VEX IQ Robotics Competition, VEX Robotics Competition, and VEX U teams to compete and celebrate their achievements. This marks the second consecutive year that Napoleon High School has had a team qualify for the World Championship.
Math/Science/Technology Teacher and STEM Coach Adam Draa expressed his pride in the team’s success. With a regular season record of 55-28-1 and several awards this season, including Tournament Finalist Awards, Tournament Champion Award, Design Award, Innovation Awards, and Skills Champion Awards, the team has shown exceptional dedication and skill. Coach Draa looks forward to watching them compete on a global stage.
