Vin Diesel is set to begin production on the upcoming film Riddick: Furya, featuring his character Richard B. Riddick. The project has finalized key pre-sales and sales have closed in various territories including France, Germany, Spain, Latin America, Benelux, Poland, Canada, Scandinavia, Portugal and Switzerland. North American rights are represented by CAA Media Finance.
Diesel will not only star in the film but also produce it through his company One Race Films alongside Samantha Vincent. The production team includes Thorsten Schumacher for Rocket Science and Lars Sylvest for Thank You Studios as well as Joe Neurauter. The Cannes slate for Rocket Science also features other exciting projects such as The Apprentice, Better Man, Adulthood and 11817.
The latest installment in the Riddick series promises to delve deeper into Riddick’s character and his connection to his people as he returns to his homeworld unsure of what he will find as he discovers other Furyans struggling to survive against a new threat.
