As winter sports season comes to a close, the Binghamton Press & Sun Bulletin, Elmira Star-Gazette, Corning Leader, and Ithaca Journal have announced the Elite All-Star teams for 2023-24. Over 80 athletes from these coverage areas have been recognized for their outstanding performance in boys basketball, girls basketball, boys wrestling, boys and girls indoor track & field, boys swimming & diving, and boys and girls bowling.
The top athletes were selected separately for the Greater Binghamton region and the Corning/Elmira/Ithaca region in each sport. The Elite selections were based on voting from coaches as well as input from the sports departments of the newspapers. However, it’s important to note that not all coaches participated in the voting process.
These accolades recognize the hard work and dedication of these athletes throughout the season. They have shown exceptional talent and skill in their respective sports and have proven themselves to be among the best in their regions. Congratulations to all of these athletes on their achievements!
