Just a few minutes earlier at 8:42 am ET, Jayden Daniels was picked by the Washington Commanders at No. 2 overall. The Patriots made a move at No. 3, selecting Drake Maye at 8:49 am ET. In earlier news, the Eagles and A.J. Brown reached an agreement on a three-year, $96 million extension at 8:34 am ET.

At 9:04 am ET, Jim Harbaugh and the Chargers opted to stay put at No. 5 and chose Notre Dame’s Joe Alt. The first wide receiver off the board, Marvin Harrison Jr., was picked by the Cardinals at 8:54 am ET. At 9:08 am ET, LSU’s Malik Nabers was selected by the Giants at No. 6
