The Dolphins made significant improvements to their defense and special teams on Wednesday by signing linebacker Cam Brown and former Bills special teamer Siran Neal to their 90-man roster. Brown, a 2020 sixth-round pick of the Giants, spent the last four years with the team and recorded 35 tackles, two forced fumbles, and three quarterback hits in 60 regular season appearances. Despite only seeing 103 snaps on defense, he accumulated 1,328 snaps on special teams and served as one of the team’s captains.
Neal, who has experience playing in the kicking game for the Bills, is also expected to play a prominent role in Miami’s special teams unit if he makes it to the 53-man roster. These signings strengthen Miami’s special teams unit and add depth to their defense as they look to improve in all areas of the game. The Dolphins are committed to achieving success in the upcoming season and these moves demonstrate their dedication to achieving that goal.
