The anticipation for the upcoming WNBA season is at an all-time high, with this year’s draft class promising to bring increased viewership to the league. The Dallas Wings have lined up two star-studded matchups for their first games of the season, creating much excitement among fans.
The WNBA’s first overall draft pick, Iowa guard Caitlin Clark, has been garnering attention and will make her debut in Dallas against the Indiana Fever on May 3 at College Park Center. Originally scheduled for 11:30 a.m., the game has now been moved to prime time, with tip-off set for 7 p.m.
In addition to Clark, more college stars are making their WNBA debut in Dallas. The Wings will kick off the regular season at home on May 15 at 7 p.m. against the Chicago Sky, who drafted LSU forward Angel Reese at No. 7. Tickets for individual games will go on sale at 10 a.m. on April 18 on the Dallas Wings’ website.
The game on May 3 will also feature programming focused on education and sportsmanship.
