Denver artist R. Alan Brooks is a board member and teaches graphic novel writing for Regis University’s MFA program and Lighthouse Writers Workshop. His works, “The Burning Metronome” and “Anguish Garden,” feature diverse characters and storylines. Meanwhile, Myra, who has been in a coma for 30 years, has formed a new friendship with her young neighbor, Ossie. Both are on a journey to find their place in the world. Myra’s experience has given her a unique perspective on life, and she hopes to inspire others through her story. Ossie is still figuring out his own path, but he is determined to make the most of his life. Together, they hope to overcome any obstacles that come their way and achieve their dreams.
