Last January, the major project of administrative simplification was launched and is now taking its first steps with the presentation of a bill in the Council of Ministers. The bill aims to simplify the lives of millions of small and medium-sized businesses by focusing on the economy.
One of the significant measures in the bill is the simplification of the pay slip, which will be reduced from 55 lines to about fifteen by 2027. The revised pay slip will include essential information such as total remuneration paid by the employer and the amount received by the employee, along with other key details of remuneration. This move aims to make mandatory documents more readable for employees who find them incomprehensible.
However, there are concerns about the complexity of the overall simplification process. Some employee unions worry that it could favor businesses over employees, leading to more deregulation than simplification. However, the Ministry of Economy emphasizes that their goal is to build trust between administration and businesses by shifting from sanctions to advice.
The bill also seeks to reduce administrative procedures for businesses, facilitate access to public markets for small businesses, and address other key issues affecting labor force members. While some aspects such as social thresholds and labor dispute deadlines are postponed for further review, its overall goal is to streamline processes and support businesses in a changing economic landscape.
